This study aims at providing a deeper understanding of the operational aspects of the A Line, travel behavior of users, and perceptions of users and nonusers. From the operational perspective, transit dwell time will be calculated from vehicle location data, and the impact of dwell time on road capacity reduction will be estimated using traffic flow models. Video data will be collected and processed to estimate traffic measures (such as capacity reduction and delay) in order to understand the impact of transit vehicles on general vehicle traffic in the corridor.
